BetaGist MTN Tariff Plan

The BetaGist MTN tariff plan allows you to call anyone on any network (MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9Mobile) in Nigeria at a flat rate of 30 kobo per second. You also get back 3 minutes as a bonus for every 6-minute call you make. The get-back bonus is valid for 24 hours.

This plan also has a Betamix bundle where you can access cheap data and complimentary voice calls. The BetaGist MTN tariff also offers a pay-as-you-go data option that is charged at ₦3.07 per MB. For SMS, subscribers will be charged ₦6 per message.

How Does the BetaGist MTN Tariff Plan Work?

The MTN BetaGist works in a similar way to the old BetaTalk tariff plan but there is little adjustment. 

For every 6 minutes of calls you make with the MTN BetaGist across all networks, you will get back 3 minutes as a bonus to keep the conversation going. 

The new tariff plan allows you to call all networks in Nigeria at a cheap flat rate of 30k/s.

How to Migrate to MTN BetaGist

New MTN customers are already on BetaGist because it is a default tariff plan for all newly registered SIMs.

Once you dial this code on your MTN line, you will see ‘’MTN BetaGist.’’ click on it to confirm and you will be migrated instantly.

How to Migrate to MTN BetaGist Via SMS

You can also migrate to MTN BetaGist through short message service (SMS). To use this method, follow the steps below:

• Locate the messaging app on your phone
• Compose the message ‘’BG.’’
• After composing, send it to ‘’312.’’ 
• Finally, you will get a success message that you have been migrated to MTN BetaGist. The text message is free.

How to Migrate to MTN BetaGist Using myMTN App

Another easy and simple method that you can use to migrate to MTN BetaGist is through the myMTN app. Follow the steps below to get started

• Download myMTN app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store for Android and iOS users, respectively, if you don’t have one
• Create an account with details or log in if you have an existing account already.
• Select the tariff plan name
• Locate the “Tariff Plan” page
• Click on the “Personal Plan” button
• Now, scroll down and you will see the “BetaGist” option. Select it and you will be migrated to the plan successfully.

How to Migrate to BetaGist MTN Tariff Plan Using MTN ChatBot (Zigi)

The last method on our list that you can use to migrate to MTN BetaGist is the MTN ChatBot, popularly known as Zigi. to use this method, do this:

• Choose the ‘Start a new conversation’ option
• Input your MTN phone number in the space provided and wait for OTP
