1. Locate your phone and dial *312*8# or *321*2# on your MTN line
2. Choose option ‘’1’’, which is ‘’Transfer from Data Balance.’’

- Open the Message app on your phone
- On the text bar, type Transfer–Phone number—Data amount to 312.
For instance, the message will look like this: ‘’Transfer 07065169418 1GB’’ After typing the message, you will then send it to ‘’312’’.
If you get it right, the receipt will receive the data bundle from you.
How to Share Data on MTN using myMTN App
The last method on our list that you can use to share MTN data is through the use of the myMTN app. Before you can use this method to share data with your loved ones, you have to switch on your internet connection, unlike the previous methods that don’t require an internet connection. Follow the steps below if you want to use this method:
- If you don’t have the myMTN app on your device, you can visit the Google Play Store or Apple Store to download the app and create an account for Android and iOS users, respectively.
- If you have the app already, you can sign in with your login details.
